The Service League of Cherokee County has been serving the children of our county since 1935. We have come a long way since seven women had a dream and a desire to help the children in need. Our purpose is still the same today, although we are 75 women strong who volunteer over 10,000 hours to the community each year. Most of our work is done quietly, we always protect the names of the children we help. So a lot of what we do goes unnoticed, but the rewards can’t be numbered.
