The 6th Annual 'Run for the Children 5K and one mile Fun Run will be held on March 27th, 2010 in historical downtown Canton, once again.   We would like to thank our sponsors and runners in advance for there continued support of the children of Cherokee County!

The 5th Annual Run for the Children 5-K and one mile Fun Run on Saturday, March 14th, 2009 in historical downtown Canton.  It was a rainy start in the morning of the run and given the fact that the rainy weather decided to stick with us we had an exceptional turnout.  We are so grateful for all the  support shown for the Cherokee County Service League.  We want to take this opportunity to thank each and every runner, policeman, business and anyone else who helped make this day the success it was. 

 

 

The Service League of Cherokee County was formed more then 70 years ago as a non-profit organization made up of 75 women representing all of Cherokee County.  It is the oldest service organization in the community.  All monies raised by the Service League through the run and other fund raisers are directed to the underprivileged children of Cherokee County.
