EXHIBITOR GENERAL INFORMATION
Thank you for your interest in our
show! Applications will be screened beginning June 1st. Once your application has
been processed, you will receive your confirmation within one month. You will receive any
additional information the first week of September.

Acceptance
or rejection will be made in writing and is at the discretion of the Arts and Crafts or
Concessions committee. Deposit of your check by the Riverfest committee does not
constitute acceptance to the show. Applications are not accepted on first come, first
serve basis.
This is a juried show and
judges awards will be given in each category.

GENERAL RULES
& REGULATIONS
All Categories:
- All crafts must be handmade by the
exhibitor. ALL WORK must be suitable for a family oriented show. The artist must be
present. Agents will not be allowed to exhibit. No resale of wholesale items (buy/sell) is
permitted. Commercial products are only accepted in our Childrens area. Deviation
from the items listed on your application could result in the closing of your booth
without refund.
- Exhibitors agree to be present for all
scheduled show hours, rain or shine.
- No rain date or refunds due to rain
or any other weather situations.
- ALL WORK must be suitable for a
family-oriented show.
- Cancellations that occur after
exhibitors acceptance into show will result in loss of all fees.
- Electricity will be provided only to
those exhibitors who pay the designated fee.
- Each exhibitor is responsible for
collecting 6% sales tax and sending to the State at the conclusion of the show. No
commission is charged.
- Exhibitor agrees to have booth set-up
& ready for viewing by 9:30 am, Saturday & Sunday. Set-up time: Friday 12 noon to
dark, Saturday 7am to 9:30am.
- The booth may not be dismantled before
5:15pm on Sunday (Absolutely no early breakdown allowed).
- One car or truck per applicant will be
permitted. Said vehicle must be parked in exhibitor parking area during the show.
- ALL EXHIBITORS will decorate their
booth to provide an attractive appearance. EXHIBITORS will be responsible for their own
display set-up (which includes: tools, display screens, tables, table coverings, chairs,
shade or anything required to exhibit.)
- A list of overnight accommodations is
available for Exhibitors and/or campers upon request.
- NO PETS allowed in Boling
Park. This is a city ordinance.
- Riverfest makes no exceptions
regarding the allocation of booth space including, but not limited to, requests from
non-profit organizations for free booth space. No exceptions will be made for requests for
booth space to sell raffle items, requests for donations, or any other requests that are
determined to be inappropriate by the Riverfest Committee.
- No generators allowed.
Specific Rules: Crafts/Fine
Arts
- All work must be original, creative,
hand-made quality art & craft.
- NOT ACCEPTABLE: Kits, copies,
commercial products, or ceramics. All work must be for sale.
- The Artist must accompany his/her own
work. Agents will not be allowed to exhibit. Works which have been purchased or donated
for resale purposes will not be accepted.
- Proof of product knowledge may be
required.
Specific Rules: Childrens
Area
- All original, creative, hand-made
quality art and craft work accepted.
- Commercial products are also accepted.
Specific Rules:
Food/Concessions
- All concessionaires will decorate
their booth so as to provide an attractive & clean appearance.
- Trailers (including tongue) must be no
longer than 15 feet. If the trailer is longer the exhibitor must pay for 1 1/2 spaces, 15
x 23 space size.
- Concessionaire agrees to sell only
those items approved by the concession committee.
- All trailers must be in their
designated booth space during the hours of 3:00pm until dark on Friday. Trailers will not
be permitted into the park for Saturday morning set up.
Security and Insurance
Riverfest will
provide security Friday and Saturday nights, however, we will not guarantee against loss
or damage of any kind. The exhibitor understands that neither Riverfest nor the City of
Canton maintains insurance covering the exhibitors property and it is the sole
responsibility of the exhibitor to obtain such insurance. Exhibitor assumes responsibility
and agrees to indemnify and defend Riverfest, the City of Canton, and its employees
against claims or expenses arising out of the use of the exhibit space.
Interpretation and Violation
Any points not
covered above or elsewhere are subject to settlement by the management. Any violation of
these rules and regulations by any exhibitor may void the agreement for booth space, and
such exhibitor could forfeit all monies that have been paid. Riverfest reserves the right
to terminate the agreement for booth space. Written notice by Riverfest to terminate the
agreement for booth space is not required.
